Music
“Liturgical worship is given a more noble form when it is celebrated in song, with the ministers of each degree fulfilling their ministry and the people participating in it.” Musica Sacram Instruction of Music in the Liturgy [March 1967] We gather each week as a worshipping community, lifting our voices in song and playing our instruments in praise of a wonderful God.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy CommunionEucharistic Ministers distribute the Body and Blood of Christ with reverence for what they are doing and with awareness for the needs of all people gathered.

Altar serversWe encourage people of all ages, 4th grade and up, to serve at the table of the Lord.

GreetersGreeters welcome every single person who comes to church, remembering that every person has a place here. Greeters show love and hospitality, knowing that Jesus welcomes all into his Father's house and loves them as members of his Body.

Lectors (Readers)Lectors proclaim the word of God reverently and in such a way that people hear clearly every word said. We believe that God is truly present in the word that is proclaimed at Mass.

Lay leaders of Prayer
Lay Leaders of Prayer assist in the parish when a priest is not available to lead prayer services such as Stations of the Cross, Liturgy of the Word, Morning and Evening Prayer, and vigil services at funerals. IHM is blessed with six women and men who have been commissioned by the bishop for this important ministry.
