Confirmation Name

Candidates are welcome to use their own name for Confirmation or select a Confirmation name. If you choose to select a name, the name should not be foreign to Christian sensibilities. This means that the meaning of the name should be consistent with what we value as Catholics. Some choose the name of a favorite saint like Paul or Elizabeth. Others choose a name that represents a virtue such as Hope or Fortius (that one means strength).

Choose a name that represents how you would like the Holy Spirit to help you grow.
